Everyone has their own way of dealing with problems. Some pray, some complain. Some laugh it off, some cry their eyes out. Some learn from the experience, some curse their luck. Some are optimists, some are pessimists. Some become stronger, whereas some sink deep into depression. Problems over-shadow the moments of true bliss, don’t they?
Life is beautiful. And as much as that is true, problems are a part of life. The bad comes with the good, that’s just the way it is.
Dealing with problems with strength and a smile is not easy or something we just possess as part of nature. It comes with time. And with time, you realize that whether you like it or not, you must let some things go. Let life hand you whatever it has in store for you. And while life is at it, you smile away, because that’s what you do best.
The question is, how does one find peace? Where to find bliss when life is rough?
Bliss lies within. Bliss is inner peace and contentment with oneself. A state of mind where you learn to be happy with life no matter what. Bliss would vary from person to person. It can be anything from being with your family or playing with your pet or listening to your favorite music.
For me, I find bliss in smiling. Smiling no matter how harsh life gets. Smiling even though I have a million things to do. Smiling in the middle of doing something important. Smiling while going to work. Smiling on the streets, smiling at the person at the next table at a restaurant. Smiling even when I had a bad day. Smiling when I am heartbroken. Smiling even when I have to handle great grief.
Things won’t change by smiling, but it will definitely change your attitude towards problems. Smiling triggers positive attitude and with positivity, half of your misery phases out. Your problems don’t seem so big anymore. You suddenly feel stronger and confident about the way you live life. Smiling is a bliss.
I smile because I find true bliss in it. It makes me feel good and God knows, it hopefully makes someone else’s day too.
Where does your bliss lie ? 🙂
